In early 2008, Colin Montgomery and Svetlana Rabey happily decided to get married. 

At 9:00AM on Thursday May 29th, 2008, Witnesses Matthew McCulloch and Wendy Billingslea met Colin and Sveltana in front of the New York City County Clerks Office in Lower Manhattan.

Shortly thereafter, in a second floor office, County Clerk Blanca Martinez married Sveltana and Colin. 

Two days later, they arrived at Marilyn and John Montgomery’s home for the beautiful engagement party that the Montgomery’s had arranged.  It was a wonderful time, with friends and family visiting from far and wide.

Unbeknownst to all but the two witnesses, Colin had a little announcement to make.
